Designed for serious lifters, Wolverson Calibrated Powerlifting Weight Plates offer precision, durability, and performance. Manufactured from high-quality cast iron with a precision-machined finish, these plates are calibrated to a strict +/- 10g accuracy, ensuring consistency in every lift.
The thin-cut design allows for a maximum load of up to 700kg on an Olympic barbell, while the snug 50.4mm centre hole provides a secure fit, making them ideal for deadlifts (accurate to +/- 0.2mm). Each plate is finished with a high-quality baked coating that offers superior durability compared to standard painted finishes, though minor scratching or chipping may still occur with metal-on-metal contact.
Featuring a raised Wolverson logo and weight indicator, these plates are also colour-coded to meet IPF powerlifting standards, allowing for quick and easy identification. For optimal performance, we recommend using them with a bar that has hard chrome sleeves, as black-coated sleeves may be prone to scratching when in contact with metal plates.
