Really nice bar. Well made, seems very robust, like the extra long sleeves too.
I think it’s a great bar for training powerlifting movements or for other traditional strength training exercises. Probably wouldn’t use for Olympic Lifts or more dynamic weightlifting type movements, because of the aggressive knurling and relatively gentle sleeve spin.
I always used to think Wolverson equipment wasn’t great quality, because it was always damaged and worn out in the gym I went to.
Later found out this was because the Wolverson bars were the members favourites, and had been used and abused significantly more than the other barbells in the gym.
These are wonderful to use and the all rubber grip makes them so solid in your hand and the 'ergonomicness' increases with the weight as you need it to.
Ex-event means a little scuffing but mostly just chalk dust - never been disappointed and never felt it had been more banged up than expected.
The bench is amazing and the optional preacher curl is better than expected. However, it was the customer service (from Paige) that blew me away.
Why? .. Unfortunately there was one nut and bolt that did not align correctly and duly snapped leaving the front stabiliser support one nut and bolt short ....
One short email to the company got me through to Paige who duly sent out a replacement part (even though she was willing to send out a complete new bench ) Replacement part duly arrived and now bench is complete. Cannot thank her enough and my home gym is perfect. I wish all companies worked with this ethos. Thank you Wolverson. You have a customer for life. John
It’s great but where do you put the water I’m gasping for air cuppa (only joking) it’s great a real space saver steady too I highly recommend also good job on the delivery and wolverson fitness 👍👍👍
Fantastic kettlebell, I have 10 - 20kg wolverson competition bells. After buying the 8kg GS bell for my wife I thought the handle was great and suited me really well. The 24kg GS kettlebell is working out really well for me.
Basically the perfect kettlebells, nicely balanced, good grip without tearing up the hands, sits comfortably in the rack and when locked out overhead. Only very slight gripe given the premium price is that I have two 16kgs and the paint is slightly different, one being matt yellow and the other a slightly darker gloss like finish- no impact on performance though and I didn't get them to look nice. So good I upgraded all my old singles and now have matching pairs of the 16,20 and 24 and will probably get the 28 and 32 at some point for farmers walks etc.
