It’s almost that time again, when CrossFit athletes from across the country go head-to-head to compete in the Battle of Britain Throwdown 2016, and Wolverson Fitness are proud to once again be sponsoring the event as an official equipment provider.
After the success of the 2015 Throwdown, thing keep getting bigger and better, with a brand new battlefield hosted at The Birmingham International Futsal Arena on Sunday 17th April 2016.

The winner of each qualifier will receive some great prizes from the event sponsors – For WOD1, there’s a £100 voucher to spend on the ICON Nutrition website.
The main event will consist of three top-secret WODs, the details of which will be released prior to the event, so athletes need to be ready for anything, with the grand final event revealed on the day.
The final WOD will determine the Top 60 Male and Top 60 Female athletes, plus 24 Male and 24 Female Masters, and who has right to be crowned the Battle of Britain Champion 2016.The brainchild of two ex-Royal Marine Commandos who now operate and coach at Crossfit Coventry, the Throwdown is guaranteed to push competitors in an epic test of strength, will and overall fitness, and take full advantage of Birmingham International Futsal Arena’s state of the art facilities – including kettlebells, barbells, bumper plates, and a huge functional rig supplied by Wolverson Fitness.
