Equilibrium

We recently had the opportunity to sit down and chat with Ryan Thomas, the proud owner and visionary behind Equilibrium Fitness. Ryan shared insights about the journey, and it was clear that the partnership with Wolverson Fitness was pivotal in bringing his vision to life.

Interview with Ryan Thomas (Owner)

How did the idea for Equilibrium first come about?

Equilibrium really came about after working in busy corporate gyms for a long time. I knew I could do things better and provide a superior service for busy professionals, moms, and dads. Everything is centered entirely around them and their lifestyles. We wanted to create a facility that served as a sanctuary for those clients. Part of that meant offering an exclusive, one on one and semi private style environment where it never feels overcrowded and always feels warm and welcoming.

What went into the design of the training space and your equipment choices?

We went with a bespoke, custom made rig because we wanted to maximize the functionality of the space. I wanted to offer as many exercises as possible from the same piece of equipment, keeping the layout open rather than flooding it with machines. That flexibility allows us to run classes alongside one on one sessions while getting maximum utility out of the area.

Why did you choose to collaborate with Wolverson for this build?

Wolverson really listened to our brief and created something as unique as our space. Other suppliers felt very cookie cutter, offering nothing tailored to our exact requirements.

Would you recommend working with them to others?

Absolutely. If you are looking for that wow factor and need equipment custom built for your specific environment and training style, I highly recommend them. Beyond the design process, the equipment quality is outstanding. Everyone who has seen the space so far has been blown away. It truly delivers the cutting edge, premium feel we were after.
