Affordable and loaded with features, the new design of the Wolverson GHD (Glute Ham Developer) we have made a more compact version than its predecessor and is ideal for studios and gyms, whilst we made it as compact as possible we also had to consider safety and stability which is why we have placed 4 'bolting' holes so if you feel the need to secure it into place for added peace of mind, thats covered.
Key benefits of GHD work include the improved strengthening and stabilisation of key areas around the core midsection, including glutes, hamstrings and lower lumbar region. GHD's can also aid in promoting improved posture by strengthening the muscle groups associated with alignment, namely spinal erectors. The machine once built is a great bit of kit . No step by step instructions and no tools provided to build( not in mine anyway) the diagram was fairly difficult to follow as the pictures were to small. A step by step guide would maybe of been easier with a video back up( you may have one )? Once you get your head round it and after a few errors as I said a very sturdy great bit of equipment
I was shopping around for a GHD for a couple of months, and this appears to be the best available, all told. It's got the smallest footprint of any I've been able to find, other than a compact model, which don't allow for the same number of exercises. It is notably shorter in length than most other GHDs, meaning it fits perfectly in my home gym.
The bench is very sturdy, without being too heavy to move around with ease. The wheels are a nice touch, and make this much easier. The pad is a different shape to the market standard, lending more comfort to the start of the GHR movement. Making adjustments is smooth and they lock in solid.
I have no doubts or complaints about the quality of this bench, it'll obviously last for a long time; another great Wolverson product
